Big Day In 2012

On Thursday we had our Big Day In, to celebrate the end of our school year and all the hard work we have done. We had great fun on the Bouncy Castles, in the sandpit, making kites, having sack races, potato and spoon races as well as doing Christmas Art. We made a sandwich for lunch and enjoyed a fruit kebab...YUM!

Athletics Day 2012

Room 11 took part in the Junior Athletics Day on Friday. Look at some of our up and coming athletes.

Transport Day

To end our Inquiry Topic of Transport, we had a Transport Day. We watched the Cars movie, had a chance to ride our bicycles and scooters, played with a Thomas the Train set, played in the sandpit with our cars and trucks, made paper aeroplanes and flew them. We also got to see an old car up close. It was great fun!

Our Buses

Room 11 have been learning about transport. They made their own buses and cut out pictures from a magazine to show their passengers in the bus.

Maths Week

Room 11 enjoyed Maths Week. World of Maths visited and we had a go at the activities, we also made shape pictures and painted 'Beautiful Numbers'.

Visit to MOTAT

Room 11 visited MOTAT on Tuesday. We looked at transport from long ago and compared it to the types of transport we have today. We also had great fun in the Challenge Zone.
